Welcome to Fur Envy Pet Grooming

A Little About Me
I’ve always had a deep love for animals. Growing up, I was the kid who could never walk past a stray without stopping to say hello. Whether they were big or small, furry or not-so-furry, I always felt a special connection to animals. This love eventually led me to work with them professionally.
At 13, I began working at a local pet store, which turned out to be the perfect introduction to the professional side of the animal world. Over the years, I became involved in dog sports, showing Golden Retrievers in conformation events around Southern Ontario. After a long hiatus, I stepped back into the ring and had the pleasure of handling our youngest Pug to his CKC Championship—a memory I’ll always cherish.

While living in the country, we also spent time raising Flemish Giant rabbits, and was lucky enough to produce Reserve in Show winners, and even a Best in Show champion. The rabbits were a joy to have around, and we’ve kept online everything we’ve shared of them, viewable on Instagram @forestviewgiants
After the pandemic brought us back to Orangeville, I transitioned from being a part-time photographer (specializing in family and newborns) to focusing on pet photography. The learning curve was steep, but I found joy in every new technique I mastered. Eventually, I entered an international competition and was honoured to receive two awards for my work.

That same year I joined an established pet salon as a bather. What started as a small side job, quickly became my new passion. I was excited to be offered an apprenticeship to become a professional groomer, and since completing my training, I’ve continued to expand my skills and knowledge to ensure every pet gets the best care possible. Pet photography still holds a special place in my heart, and I offer those services on a limited basis.

I opened Fur Envy Pet Grooming because I believe every dog deserves to feel special. My goal is to offer a grooming experience that’s not only professional but also caring, comfortable, and stress-free. Your pet is treated like part of the family, and I make sure that each dog who comes in leaves looking and feeling their best.

What Makes Us Different
​What sets us apart is our deep love and commitment to every dog we groom. Unlike larger grooming chains, we are based out of the home and offer personalized attention, one-on-one grooming, and a calm, stress-free environment. We do not mix dogs from separate households - every appointment is dedicated to your dog (or dogs!) only. We use high quality, hypoallergenic shampoos to ensure your dog’s skin and coat are treated with the best care.

At Fur Envy, it’s not just about grooming—it’s about building trust with both you and your pet. I work hard to create a calming and friendly environment for every dog that comes to visit. I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality, preferences, and grooming needs, so you can rest assured they’re in good hands. I truly enjoy connecting with my clients, and will happily work with you regarding your unique pet.  Establishing a relationship with everyone who walks through the door (on both ends of the leash!) helps your pet feel comfortable too!
